“Tutor training with Portland Literacy Council was so simple, yet so robust. I feel capable and prepared to begin tutoring. Also, it was downright fun. Can’t wait for the next skill-building workshop!”

Angela S., PLC Volunteer Tutor

“I appreciated that the tutor training workshop was broken up into two weekend sessions. It allowed me to start this journey without compromising my work and family schedules. The instructor was kind and made me feel like I was in the right program to make a difference.”
