
This PLC Awesome Tutor Workshop presented by Jennifer Snyder covers the basics of teaching Grammar to ESOL students. The video addresses several questions about grammar instruction for English learners. What grammar is most important for beginning and intermediate learners? And how much? How do we talk–or not talk–about grammar with students? Most importantly, what practical strategies can tutors employ to help learners move from knowing about grammar to actually using it for communication.
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned zoom teacher, it can be tricky to set up a class, interact with students, and teach online. In this session, conducted by Patrik McDade in October 2025, participants shadowed an accomplished teacher to glean tips and met some amazing students.
